• ECAC Hockey Student-Athletes Selected in 2017 NHL Entry Draft

    ALBANY, N.Y. -- ECAC Hockey (@ecachockeyMWD1) was again represented in the 55th NHL Entry Draft with the selection of nine future student-athletes and one current player on June 23-24, 2017, at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, hosted by the NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks. Harvard led the way with three selections, followed by Union with two and Clarkson, Cornell, Quinnipiac, Rensselaer and Yale each having one student-athlete selected at the yearly event.

The nation's top 25 college hockey players were announced tonight at the NCAA Men's Division I Frozen Four in Chicago. Denver has five honorees while Harvard, Omaha, St. Lawrence and Union each had two selections.
