As the backup to star Colgate goalie Mark Dekanich last season,
Charles Long had a lot of free time on his hands.
He filled some of it by working as a DJ on the student radio
station. His show, creatively called "Radio Show," aired from 4 to
5 p.m. on Fridays, taking him right to the cusp of what normally
would be the gametime preparation zone.
"We played whatever we felt like at the time," recalled Long, now
a junior. "If there was some band we didn't like, we'd play them
and talk about why we didn't like them."
