Clarkson's NCAA Upset Bid Denied in Overtime
An amazing rally late in regulation put the Clarkson University Women’s Hockey team in position for an improbable victory in its first ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament, but the University of Minnesota pulled out the quarterfinal round triumph with the deciding goal in overtime to gain a 3-2 win on Saturday evening before a crowd of 785 fans at Ridder Arena.
