Women's Championship

A total of eight teams qualify for the championship and are seeded based on the final regular-season standings.  The format for the quarterfinals features best-of-three games series and are played on the campuses of the higher-seeded teams.

The four quarterfinals winners (No. 1 Harvard, No. 2 St. Lawrence, No. 4 Dartmouth and No. 6 Rensselaer) advanced to the championship finals, conducted March 7-8 at Harvard. The format of conducting the finals at the home site of the highest remaining seed has been utilized since 2006.
