St. Lawrence’s Grace Harrison (Auckland, New Zealand) has been named the WHCA Goaltender of the Month, backstopping the Saints to a 3-0-1 mark in January. The senior led the nation in both goals-against average (0.76), and save percentage (.970) this month, stopping 98 of the 101 shots she faced.

She started out the month on a high note, going over 51 minutes without allowing a goal against Union College before being relieved by fellow teammate Allison Compeau, who was able to see her first career minutes in net. She went on to earn league wins against Yale and Dartmouth, before posting a 29-save shutout against Harvard on January 26 in a game that would end in a 0-0 tie.

Harrison now boasts a .927 save percentage, and 2.15 goals-against average this season. In the games that she has started in net, St. Lawrence has gone 9-5-2.
