CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – Clarkson lit up Lake Placid with an overtime game winner to defeat nationally-ranked UMass on Saturday afternoon. Princeton picked up a 5-2 win over Harvard in front of a sold out Hobey Baker Rink in the only league contest of the night.
Rensselaer took a tight one over Canisius in Buffalo, earning a weekend sweep of the Golden Griffins. Quinnipiac blitzed Holy Cross in a 5-2 home win and St. Lawrence took down Ottawa by the same score in an exhibition contest. Cornell skated to a 2-2 tie with nationally-ranked Arizona State, but the Sun Devils won the shootout to claim the Adirondack Winter Invitational title.
