CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – Wrapping up another month of ECAC Hockey action, we are proud to unveil our women’s monthly award recipients for November: Izzy Daniel (Cornell), Kate Reilly (Quinnipiac), Kayle Osborne (Colgate), and Emma Pais (Colgate).
Forward of the Month
Izzy Daniel (Sr., Cornell) secures her second consecutive monthly honor following an exceptional month for the Big Red, earning her National Player of the Month recognition from the Hockey Commissioners Association. Across eight games, Daniel showcased remarkable form with six goals and ten assists, boasting an impressive 2.00 points per game average, leading the nation. Notably, she recorded multi-point performances in six of the eight games played, concluding the month with 24 shots on goal and a favorable plus-minus of seven.
Defender of the Month
Kate Reilly (Gr., Quinnipiac) is given the title of Defender of the Month, after demonstrating an outstanding performance on the blueline for the Bobcats. The fifth-year defender amassed an impressive 13 points in November, comprising four goals and nine assists over seven games. Embarking on a six-game point streak during the month, Reilly contributed significantly, including the game-winning goal that secured the Nutmeg Classic Championship against Yale. She finished November with a commendable plus-minus rating of seven.
MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Month
Kayle Osborne (Sr., Colgate) earns the well-deserved title of MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Month, maintaining an undefeated record in November with a 6-0-1 performance for the Raiders. In seven games played, Osborne made a total of 114 saves, conceding just seven goals, including a shutout against nationally-ranked Yale. The senior netminder concluded the month with an outstanding 0.99 goals-against average and a .942 save percentage.
Rookie of the Month
Emma Pais (Fr., Colgate) is honored as Rookie of the Month, displaying a strong performance for the Raiders with nine points in eight games played. Pais contributed four goals and five assists, playing a key role in Colgate’s 6-1-1 record for the month. Leading all freshmen on the team in points (15) and goals (7), Pais concluded November with 24 shots on goal and an impressive plus-minus of 11.
