Co-Forwards of the Week

Maggie Connors (Sr., Princeton) and Charlotte Welch (Sr., Yale) are honored as Co-Forwards of the Week after impressive performances.

Connors tallied two goals and an assist this week, helping Princeton gain valuable points over Harvard and Dartmouth. On Friday, she scored the game’s opening goal, then assisted on the team’s second tally of the night. She followed up her performance with a power play equalizer on Saturday.

Welch had a five-point week for the Bulldogs, helping the team to two dominant wins over Union and Rensselaer. On Friday, she recorded a hat trick in the team’s 10-1 defeat of the Dutchwomen, adding a helper on another goal for a four-point performance. On Saturday, she assisted on Emma Seitz’ game-winner against Rensselaer.

Defender of the Week

Emma Seitz (Sr., Yale) reprises her role as Defender of the Week after a four-point week for the Bulldogs. On Friday, Seitz scored two goals and had a power play helper in Yale’s 10-1 defeat of Union, then followed up that performance with the game-winner on Saturday. Against Rensselaer, Seitz struck on the power play to seal the game for the Bulldogs at the end of the first period. She also registered four blocks and finished the weekend with a +4 ranking.

MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Week

Kaley Doyle (Jr., Brown) had a perfect weekend for the Bears, stopping the team’s losing streak in its tracks with two big wins over Rensselaer and Union. On Friday, Doyle made 33 saves and allowed just one goal in her team’s 4-1 defeat of the Engineers. She followed that performance up on Saturday with a 2-0 shutout, her second clean sheet of the season, against Union.

Rookie of the Week

Just named to the National Rookie of the Year watch list this past week, Jordan Ray (Fr., Yale) has continued to impress for the Bulldogs. In two games this week, she scored four goals and added two assists for six points. On Friday, Ray scored three goals — including the game-winner — for her first hat trick of the season and added an assist in the Bulldogs’ 10-1 defeat of Union. On Saturday, Ray had two points, an assist on the game’s opening goal and a tally of her own in the third period.
