CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – ECAC Hockey is proud to announce the men’s weekly award recipients for the week ending on January 14, 2024: Collin Graf (Quinnipiac), Ryan Healey (Harvard), Lawton Zacher (Brown), Jack Stark (Yale).
Forward of the Week, presented by Bluebird Hotels
Collin Graf (Jr., Quinnipiac) secures another Forward of the Week title, presented by Bluebird Hotels, following an outstanding offensive performance. Graf accumulated five points during the Bobcats' weekend sweep against Princeton. In Friday’s exhilarating 9-2 victory, he contributed one goal and two assists for a remarkable three-point performance. During Saturday’s series-clinching win, the junior forward scored two of the three goals for the Bobcats, with his second goal serving as the game-winner. As the nation’s leading points-per-game scorer, Graf unleashed an impressive 12 shots on goal in the series and concluded with a favorable plus-minus of four.
Defender of the Week
Ryan Healey (So., Harvard) earns the Defender of the Week distinction after notching a three-point weekend for the Crimson. In Friday’s clash at Brown, Healey provided an assist on Joe Miller’s second-period goal and added a goal of his own in the final frame. The following night, the sophomore blueliner netted the game-winning goal at Yale just eight minutes into the game. Healey concluded the weekend with an impressive nine shots on goal.
MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Week
Lawton Zacher (Fr., Brown) is recognized as the MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Week for his stellar performance in the crease, going 2-0-0 at home and securing two crucial league wins for the Bears. Brown completed the weekend sweep with 5-3 and 2-1 victories over Harvard and Dartmouth, respectively. The first-year goaltender posted a 2.00 goals-against average and .938 save percentage. Across the two games, Zacher made an impressive 60 saves.
Rookie of the Week
Jack Stark (Fr., Yale) secures consecutive Rookie of the Week honors with another stellar performance as the last line of defense for the Bulldogs. Stark achieved his fourth consecutive win after Friday’s five-goal shutout against Dartmouth, where he stopped all 29 shots faced. The next night, the first-year netminder allowed just one goal against the Crimson, concluding the weekend with an impressive 57 saves. Stark posted a 0.50 goals-against average and .983 save percentage.
