SNY to Broadcast Selection of ECAC Hockey Games in 2024-25 Season

Friday's Cornell-North Dakota Matchup Begins Broadcast Schedule

DANBURY, Conn. - ECAC Hockey and SportsNet New York (SNY) today announced a plan to broadcast a selection of Men’s and Women’s Hockey events on the regional sports network during the 2024-25 season. This slate, along with a myriad of other regional offerings, makes up a full schedule of over 30 combined ECAC Hockey contests to be broadcast on linear regional television this year.

The first game to kick off the partnership will take place on Friday, November 1 when CornellUniversity hosts the University of North Dakota at historic Lynah Rink in Ithaca, N.Y. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:00 PM.

"We are thrilled to give our alumni and fans the opportunity to follow their teams on SNY," said ECAC Hockey Commissioner Doug Christiansen. "ECAC Hockey has three of the last eleven National Champions for both men and women and we want to showcase the talent across our league. These broadcasts are designed to help recruits see our league and venues while connecting with fans throughout our footprint. Anecdotally, I love the idea of an alum at a New York City restaurant watching their school play and thinking about the great memories they had as a student going to the games."

A full schedule of events will be released in the coming weeks.

In addition to being available on SNY, all games will continue to be streamed on ESPN+ in the United States and on Stretch Internet internationally.
