Men's Ice Hockey 3/13/2024 12:00:00 PM ECAC Hockey Releases Second Team All-ECAC Honorees CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – ECAC Hockey is proud to announce the selection of six ECAC Hockey student-athletes to its 2023-24 Men’s All-ECAC Second Team, with players representing five different member institutions. Please note that all statistics correspond to the final regular season statistics in ECAC Hockey play only. Second Team All-ECAC NAME POS. The Second Team All-ECAC Hockey honorees include a pair of Quinnipiac standouts, Jacob Quillan and Sam Lipkin. Quillan, coming off a career-best season, put up an impressive 10 goals and 20 assists through 22 games played for a 1.36 points per game average. A force on the power play, Quillan tallied three goals on the man-advantage and one game winner. His counterpart Lipkin notched nine goals and 15 assists, good for a 1.10 points per game average. Lipkin finished the season with a favorable plus-minus of 19 and registered 66 shots on goal. Rounding out the forwards is Union’s Liam Robertson, whose 10 goals and 11 assists through 20 games played puts him tied for third in goals scored for the Garnet Chargers. Of his ten goals, Robertson tallied seven on the power play and secured two game winners. On defense, Clarkson’s Trey Taylor showcased his abilities as a two-way defender, tallying three goals and 11 assists to lead the Golden Knights defense in scoring while posting an favorable plus-minus of 14. Taylor registered 60 shots on goal and blocked 36 shots. Colgate defender Tommy Bergsland rounds out the defense corps with one goal and 17 assists for the Raiders in 22 games played. Bergsland registered 26 shots on goal and blocked 27 shots in conference play. In net, is Dartmouth’s Cooper Black who posted a 9-5-6 record for the Big Green. Cooper accumulated 529 saves and one shutout during the season. The sophomore netminder posted a 2.61 goals-against average and .910 save percentage.
