Diantonio, Manness, Manness, Bergmann Claim ECAC Hockey Weekly Awards

DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey has selected the women’s weekly award winners for the week ending on October 28th, 2025: Carina DiAntonio (Sr., Yale), Kate Manness (Fr., Clarkson), Sara Manness (Fr., Clarkson), and Annelies Bergmann (Jr., Cornell).

Forward of the Week, presented by Bluebird Hotels
Carina DiAntonio (Sr., Yale) earns Forward of the Week honors, presented by Bluebird Hotels. The Canadian senior tallied four goals and one assist this past weekend and was monumental in Yale’s overtime win against Princeton Saturday night. DiAntonio played in her 100th game against Princeton, scoring four goals, including the overtime winner that led to the Bulldogs’ 4-3 victory. She is the first Yale player to score four goals in one game since 2014.

Defender of the Week
Kate Manness (Fr., Clarkson) has been named the ECAC Hockey Defender of the Week. The Burlington Barracuda alum posted three assists Friday night in the Golden Knights’ 5-2 win over the Garnet Chargers. Saturday night in a 7-1 victory over RPI, Manness capitalized on a power play and found the back of the Engineers’ net for her second career goal.

#Bitcoin Rookie of the Week
Sara Manness (Fr., Clarkson) claims the Bitcoin Rookie of the Week.  The Winnipeg rookie made a statement as a freshman in a pair of weekend games to open up conference play. Friday night against Union, Manness tallied three assists in the Golden Knights’ 5-2 win. The next night, Clarkson dominated RPI with a 7-1 sweep, where Manness posted two goals and two assists for a total of four points.

MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Week
Annelies Bergmann (Jr., Cornell) has been awarded the MAC Goaltender of the Week award. The Oakland Jr. Grizzlies alum started ECAC opening weekend, going 2-0-0 with a 0.958 save percentage. Friday night against Harvard, Bergmann saw 31 shots, making 29 saves for a 0.935 save percentage to get the 5-2 win. The next night, the Big Red made a statement with a 5-0 sweep over Dartmouth, where Bergman totaled 17 saves and her second shutout of the year.
