DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey has selected the women’s weekly award winners for the week ending on November 11th, 2025: Maddie Leaney (Jr., Union), Isabella Gratzl (Fr., Brown), Izzy Whynot (Fr., Harvard), and Felicia Frank (So., Quinnipiac).
Forward of the Week, presented by Bluebird Hotels
Maddie Leaney (Jr., Union) earns Forward of the Week honors, presented by Bluebird Hotels. The junior from Maple Grove, British Columbia, netted three goals and tallied one assist in the Garnet Chargers’ weekend series against RPI. Saturday night, Leaney scored two goals, her second only 51 seconds into the third period, helping the Garnet Chargers to their 7-4 win.
ADAPT Nutrition Defender of the Week
Isabella Gratzl (Fr., Brown) has been named the ADAPT Nutrition Defender of the Week. The rookie defender from Chicago, Illinois, scored the game-winning goal Saturday afternoon in the Bears’ 3-0 win against Delaware. The next day, Gratzl tallied two assists on the second and game-winning goals that led to a 3-2 overtime win.
Rookie of the Week
Izzy Whynot (Fr., Harvard) claims Rookie of the Week recognition. Friday night, the freshman goaltender made 21 saves, allowing only one goal, for a 0.955 save percentage, leading to a 1-1 tie against Dartmouth. Harvard hits the road to play Yale and Brown this weekend.
MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Week
Felicia Frank (So., Quinnipiac) has been awarded the MAC Goaltender of the Week award. The sophomore goaltender went 1-0-1 this weekend with a 0.964 percentage. Frank allowed two goals Friday night, making 22 saves, helping the Bobcats to a 3-2 win. The next day, she was unstoppable in between the pipes, recording her fourth shutout of the season, making 32 saves, tying Clarkson 0-0, for a total of 54 on the weekend.
