DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey has selected the women’s weekly award winners for the week ending on November 3rd, 2026: Karianne Engelbert (Jr., Union), Keira Hurry (Sr., Clarkson), Carly Dann (Fr., Cornell), and Uma Corniea (Sr., Princeton).
High Peaks Resort Forward of the Week
Karianne Engelbert (Jr., Union) has been named the High Peaks Resort Forward of the Week. The junior alternate captain was critical in all five goals in Union’s thrilling overtime win against #12/13 Cornell. Friday night, Engelbert netted three goals, including a power-play goal, for her second career hat trick, and tallied two assists for five total points for the Garnet Chargers. The Ontario native tied the program's Division I single-game record with five points while becoming the first player in the program's Division I history to score a hat trick as part of a five-point game and the first to record five points against a nationally ranked opponent.
SidelineSwap Defender of the Week
Keira Hurry (Sr., Clarkson) has been named the SidelineSwap Defender of the Week. The Golden Knights went 2-0 this past weekend, cruising past Harvard 4-3 on Friday and Dartmouth 4-1 on Saturday. Hurry was crucial on the blue line against Dartmouth, tallying two assists on the first two goals of the game. The Ontario native took advantage of the power play, scoring the third goal of the game, and then scored shorthanded in the third period for three points on the weekend. Clarkson looks to continue to extend their win streak as they hit the road to face off against RPI and Union.
Rookie of the Week Presented by Just Play
Carly Dann (Fr., Cornell) has been named Rookie of the Week, presented by Just Play. The Loomis Chaffee alum had a weekend of firsts in Cornell’s games against Union and RPI. Friday night against Union, Dann tallied her first collegiate assist on the first goal of the night, but it was not enough as the Big Red fell to the Garnet Chargers 5-4 in overtime. The next day, on Halloween, the defender netted her first collegiate goal and tallied her second collegiate assist in the Big Red’s 4-1 win over RPI, ending the weekend with a +5 rating.
MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Week
Uma Corniea (Sr., Princeton) has been awarded the MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week award for the second week in a row. The Tigers remain undefeated after going 2-0 this past weekend against Brown and Yale in conference play. The senior was a brick wall in net, allowing only two goals for a 1.000 goals-against average, making 55 saves for a .965 save percentage. The Tigers look to continue their win streak as they host Colgate and Cornell this weekend.
