High Peaks Resort Forward of the Week
Andon Cerbone (Sr., Quinnipiac) has been named the High Peaks Resort Forward of the Week. The No. 10 Quinnipiac Bobcats downed No. 5 Providence Friars 5-1 on Saturday afternoon. The Connecticut native was a key player in the Bobcats' win as he netted his second collegiate hat trick, including a power-play goal that proved to be the game-winner. The Bobcats begin conference play on Friday night on the road at Cornell.
SidelineSwap Defender of the Week
Tyler Dunbar (Sr., Union) has been named the SidelineSwap Defender of the Week. The Michigan native was strong from the blue line, netting a total of two goals and two assists for four points and a +6 rating in the Garnet Chargers' weekend sweep over RPI. On Saturday, Dunbar’s second goal of the night was his third career empty-netter and the longest goal of his career, getting his shot on target from behind his team's net. Union will hit the road this weekend and face off against Clarkson and St. Lawrence for conference action.
Rookie of the Week Presented by Just Play
Nathan Free (Fr., Union) has been named Rookie of the Week, presented by Just Play, for the second week in a row. The Garnet Chargers ensured the Capital Skates Trophy will stay in the Electric City for a third straight year after holding on for a 4-3 win Friday night against RPI, thanks in large part to a two-goal performance by Free. In the rookie's first taste of conference action, Free scored the first and fourth goals for Union, including a power-play goal and the game-winner on an empty net, as well as an assist for a total of three points. The Alberta native stayed hot going into the next day, scoring two goals over the Engineers, including another game winner, for a 5-3 win, extending his point streak to six games.
MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Week
Emmett Croteau (Sr., Dartmouth) has been awarded MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week honors. The Most Outstanding Player of the 2026 ECAC Men's Hockey Tournament was outstanding in Dartmouth's two game set to open the season. The senior goaltender went 2-0-0 over Alaska Fairbanks, recording two shutouts for a total of 41 saves. The Big Green will begin conference play this weekend as they host Yale and Brown.
