DANBURY, CONN. – As playoff hockey approaches teams continue to battle for key conference points. Friday night, Union, Cornell, Dartmouth, St. Lawrence, and Clarkson each held their opponents to just one goal in decisive conference victories. Meanwhile, Colgate and Princeton battled to a 1-1 tie with the Raiders coming out victorious in the shootout. The next day Clarkson edged Brown 4-3 in overtime and Dartmouth tied Union 3-3 before claiming the shootout, while St. Lawrence completed a weekend sweep with a 5-2 win over Yale. Princeton downed Cornell 4-2, while Quinnipiac rebounded to beat Colgate 5-2, and RPI closed the weekend with a 3-1 victory at Harvard.
