Feola was hired as Director of Men's Hockey Officiating in June of 2019 after a 25-year career as an on-ice official within ECAC Hockey. The Rochester, N.Y. native is responsible for assigning and reviewing the officiating group for the 12-team men's league.
During his on-ice career, Feola officiated more than 750 NCAA games, including nine ECAC Hockey Championship games, 14 NCAA tournaments, and two National Championship games in 2012 and 2018. He also brings experience as an assignor, having worked with the Western New York Ice Hockey Officials Association over the past 20 years, assigning officials for more than 300 high school and college club games.
A 1994 graduate of Elmira College, Feola was a four-year letter winner for the ice hockey program.
