Fillier, Morrow, Dukaric, Lamarche Tabbed With Monthly Awards

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – ECAC Hockey is delighted to announce the monthly award recipients for December: Sarah Fillier (Princeton), Sydney Morrow (Colgate), Pia Dukaric (Yale), and Kahlen Lamarche (Quinnipiac).

Forward of the Month
Sarah Fillier (Sr., Princeton) garners the title of Forward of the Month, displaying an outstanding performance with seven goals and two assists across just four games for the Tigers. Fillier orchestrated a three-point night in a six-goal shutout against Rensselaer to kick off the month and concluded December with another three-point showcase against Quinnipiac. The senior forward also secured a hat trick in Princeton’s 6-3 triumph at Long Island. Fillier maintained an impressive 2.25 points per game average and finished with a positive plus-minus of two.

Defender of the Month
Sydney Morrow (So., Colgate) is recognized as Defender of the Month, boasting a nine-point performance in December for an impressive three points per game average. Morrow contributed three assists in the Raiders' dominant 9-0 victory at Syracuse and delivered a six-point weekend in a duo of non-conference matchups against Maine and Bemidji State to close out the month. Morrow notched the game-winning goal against the Beavers and concluded with a commendable plus-minus of eight.

MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Month
Pia Dukaric (Jr., Yale) secures the title of MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Month with a flawless 3-0-0 performance as the backbone for the Bulldogs. Dukaric posted a 1.33 goals-against average and .918 save percentage in December. The Bulldogs emerged victorious in all three games, allowing two goals or less in each contest. Dukaric made a total of 45 saves over the three games, including two on the road.

Bitcoin Rookie of the Month
Kahlen Lamarche (Fr., Quinnipiac) is honored as the Bitcoin Rookie of the Month, boasting an eight-point performance across four games played for the Bobcats. Lamarche tallied three assists in their thrilling 6-5 victory against Princeton, followed by a four-point performance, including two goals and two assists, in the seven-goal shutout versus Long Island. The first-year forward secured the game-winning goal against Union and concluded with a favorable plus-minus of seven.
