DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC women's hockey league play began with a rousing four-game slate on Friday that featured a shutout win for Union, an overtime victory for Brown, and a pair of 3-1 wins for Yale and Rensselaer. 

On the non-conference side of the puck, Cornell shutout Penn State while St. Lawrence and Colgate drubbed RIT and Maine, respectively.
