DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Women's Hockey began conference play in earnest on Friday night with all 12 programs in action. Union pulled off the most unexpected result of the night by upsetting Cornell, 3-2, in Ithaca. The win was the program's first ever victory at Lynah Rink.
Quinnipiac blanked Clarkson, 3-0, marking the sixth shutout in ten games for the Bobcats this season.
Harvard also knocked off a nationally-ranked opponent, beating Yale, 5-1. Colgate, Brown, and St. Lawrence were also victorious.
