DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey has selected the men’s weekly award winners for the week ending on November 25th, 2024: Brett Chorske (Sr. Colgate), Ben Robertson (So. Cornell), Charlie Gollob (Fr. Brown), and Lawton Zacher (So. Brown).

Forward of the Week, presented by Bluebird Hotels
Brett Chorske (Sr. Colgate) earns Forward of the Week honors, presented by Bluebird Hotels. The senior out of Edina, Minn., recorded two goals in the Raiders' two wins in Hamilton this weekend. The former Wenatchee Wild (BCHL) also recorded a +2 rating on the weekend and continues to lead the Raiders in goals (8) and points (14). 

Defender of the Week
Ben Robertson (So. Cornell) is named Defender of the Week after leading the Big Red to a bounce-back statement win over Princeton with a goal and an assist. The former Waterloo Black Hawks (USHL) two-point night matched his career high for the fourth time, his first two-point game since scoring two goals against Harvard in the final game of the 2024 ECAC Hockey Quarterfinals series. 

#Bitcoin Rookie of the Week
Charlie Gollob (Fr. Brown) earns Bitcoin Rookie of the Week honors following a historic weekend for the Bears in the North Country. The Toronto, Ont. native scored his first two career goals against #19 Clarkson and St. Lawrence, including the game-winning goal in Potsdam on Friday night with 0.5 seconds left in regulation. The former Victoria Grizzlies (BCHL) helped lead the Bears to their first weekend sweep in the North Country since 2004.

MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week
Lawton Zacher (So. Brown) has been named the MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week. The sophomore and second-year starter had a stellar performance in the North Country, shutting out #19 Clarkson in Potsdam. The Buffalo native finished the weekend with two wins, a .983 save percentage, a 0.49 goals-against average, and 59 saves.
