DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey has selected the men’s weekly award winners for the week ending on December 8th, 2025: Hayden Stavroff (So., Dartmouth), Tyler Dunbar (Jr., Union), Brayden Gillespie (Fr., Union), and Conor Callaghan (Jr., Princeton).
Forward of the Week, presented by Bluebird Hotels
Hayden Stavroff (So., Dartmouth) has earned the Forward of the Week title, presented by Bluebird Hotels. The Columbus, Ohio native was on fire this weekend, helping the Big Green stay perfect on the season (10-0-0). Friday night, Stavroff found the back of the net four times and tallying an assist for five points as the Big Green went on to beat Brown 7-3. The next day, he stayed hot, scoring two goals, including the game-winner and a power play goal. He did not stop there as he found his teammates to tally two assists in a 6-1 win over Yale.
ADAPT Nutrition Defender of the Week
Tyler Dunbar (Jr., Union) has been honored with the ADAPT Nutrition Defender of the Week award. The Muskegon Lumberjacks alum had himself a multi point night as a key player in the Garnet Chargers' 4-0 win over Quinnipiac on Saturday night. Dunbar posted two goals, including the game-winner, and two assists for four points. He is currently tied with teammate Brandon Buhr for the lead in points (19).
Rookie of the Week
Brayden Gillespie (Fr., Union) claims Rookie of the Week recognition. The rookie goaltender had himself a weekend in between the pipes. On Friday night, Gillespie entered in relief during the third period, making eight saves on eight shots. The next night, the former Brampton Steelheads alum was a brick wall, posting his first career shutout in a 4-0 win over No. 8 Quinnipiac where he made 31 saves.
MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week
Conor Callaghan (Jr., Princeton) is the MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week. Hailing from New Jersey, the Avon Old Farms alum was unbeatable in the crease this past weekend. Callaghan went 2-0-0 this weekend against Union and RPI, making a total of 51 saves, allowing only one goal for a 0.981 save percentage. Callaghan posted his second shutout of the season Saturday night against RPI, where he made 22 saves.
