DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey has selected the men’s weekly award winners for the week ending on November 25th, 2024: Casey Severo (Jr. Harvard), Alex Pineau (So., Brown), Jake Manfre (Fr., Princeton), and Arthur Smith (So. Princeton).

Forward of the Week, presented by Bluebird Hotels
Casey Severo (Jr. Harvard) earns Forward of the Week honors, presented by Bluebird Hotels. On Saturday night, the Junior out of Penfield, N.Y., recorded a hattrick in the Crimson’s win over Merrimack in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The former Madison Capitols (USHL) also recorded an assist this weekend and left the weekend in Belfast with a +3 rating. Severo is in a three-way tie for first on the team in points with seven.

Defender of the Week
Alex Pineau (So., Brown) is named Defender of the Week after leading the Bears to a tie and a win against Air Force, notching two goals and an assist. The former Des Moines Buccaneer (USHL) had a +2 rating following the three-point weekend at Meehan Auditorium, recording career highs in goals, assists, blocked shots, and shots in Saturday’s 5-2 victory. 

#Bitcoin Rookie of the Week
Jake Manfre (Fr., Princeton) earns Bitcoin Rookie of the Week honors with a four-point weekend. The Kings Park, N.Y. native scored his second and third career goals on Friday night in game one of a weekend sweep of #12 Ohio State at Hobey Baker Memorial Rink. 

MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week
Arthur Smith (So., Princeton) has been named the MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week. The sophomore had a star-studded performance in New Jersey, holding the #12 Ohio State Buckeyes to one goal in each game this weekend. The Farmington, Conn. native finished the weekend with two wins, a .971 save percentage, and an impressive 66 saves.
