ECAC Hockey Releases Men's Hockey Major Award Finalists

Winners to be Announced Thursday at the Championship Banquet in Lake Placid

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. – ECAC Hockey is proud to announce the finalists for the league’s major men's individual awards for the 2023-24 season ahead of crowning an ECAC Hockey Tournament Champion this weekend in Lake Placid, New York. 

The winners for each major individual award will be announced tomorrow evening at the Men’s ECAC Hockey Championships banquet and on social/web following the banquet.

Tim Taylor Coach of the Year Finalists:

Gladiator Best Defensive Forward Finalists:
  • Daniel Panetta, Colgate
  • Kyle Penney, Cornell
  • Jacob Quillan, Quinnipiac
Howie's Hockey Best Defensive Defenseman Finalists:
  • Trey Taylor, Clarkson
  • Hank Kempf, Cornell
  • Jayden Lee, Quinnipiac
Ken Dryden Goaltender of the Year (presented by MAC Goaltending) Finalists:
  • Ian Shane, Cornell
  • Cooper Black, Dartmouth
  • Vinny Duplessis, Quinnipiac
Bitcoin Rookie of the Year Finalists:
  • CJ Foley, Dartmouth
