Kaltounková, Bourque, Hesová, Bergmann Claim Weekly Honors

DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey has selected the women’s weekly award winners for the week ending on January 21st, 2025: Kristýna Kaltounková (Gr., Colgate), Stephanie Bourque (Jr., Union), Michaela Hesová (Fr., Dartmouth), and Annelies Bergmann (So., Cornell).

Forward of the Week, presented by Bluebird Hotels
Kristýna Kaltounková (Gr., Colgate) earns Forward of the Week honors, presented by Bluebird Hotels. The graduate forward had an unforgettable weekend, scoring three goals and two assists, a performance highlighted by a highlight reel goal against Princeton. The Vermont Academy (NEPSAC) alumnus is tied for most goals across the NCAA, 24, and the sixth most points, 41. 

Defender of the Week
Stephanie Bourque (Jr., Union) is the ECAC Hockey Defender of the Week. The Stanstead College (JWHL) alumnus notched an assist and scored the game-winning goal in Cambridge to end a thrilling game against Harvard on Saturday afternoon. The Moncton, New Brunswick native surpassed her career high in points this weekend, reaching 14 with eight games remaining in the 2024-25 season. 

#Bitcoin Rookie of the Week
Michaela Hesová (Fr., Dartmouth) earns Bitcoin Rookie of the Week. The freshman from  Prague, Czech Republic, recorded a 1-0-1 record with an exceptional goals-against average of 0.48, a .972 save percentage, and 52 saves. The Czech Republic international team netminder is one on a tear, leading the Big Green to a six-game unbeaten streak since the start of 2025.

MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Week
Annelies Bergmann (So., Cornell), the sophomore goaltender from Detroit, Mich., has been named the MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week. The 2023-24 Ivy League Rookie of the Year recorded a 3-0-0 record with a 1.13 goals-against average and a .952 save percentage, leading Cornell to a successful stretch of games to sit tied with Colgate for the top spot in the ECAC Hockey standings with eight league games remaining.
