DANBURY, CONN. – In the semifinal matchup Friday night, Cornell and Yale faced off as the first matchup of the night. Cornell scored the first goal under a minute into the game, but Yale came back, defeating the Big Red 7-2. The next game, featuring Quinnipiac and Yale, was tight, with the teams battling 1-1 until the final buzzer of regulation where the Bobcats sealed the deal, netting the game-winner in overtime. The Bobcats went on to defeat Yale to be crowned the 2026 ECAC Hockey Women's Champions.
