DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey has selected the men’s weekly award winners for the week ending on January 26th, 2025: Ryan St. Louis (Jr., Brown), CJ Foley (So., Dartmouth), Mick Thompson (Fr., Harvard), and Ethan Pearson (Sr., Princeton).
Forward of the Week, presented by Bluebird Hotels
Ryan St. Louis (Jr., Brown) earns the Forward of the Week honors, presented by Bluebird Hotels. The Old Greenwich, Conn. native scored three goals and one assist in two non-conference victories against Merrimack and Stonehill this week. The former Dubuque Fighting Saint (USHL) ranks third in team points (13), leading the Bears to four consecutive wins.
Defender of the Week
CJ Foley (So., Dartmouth) has been named the ECAC Hockey Defender of the Week. During the weekend games against Colgate and Cornell, the 2023-24 ECAC Hockey Bitcoin Rookie of the Year scored two goals and delivered two assists. The former Salmon Arm Silverbacks player (BCHL) has emerged as a key player for the Big Green, currently ranking second on the team with 20 points. Notably, the Hanover, Mass. native tied his career high this weekend in twelve fewer games than last season.
#Bitcoin Rookie of the Week
Mick Thompson (Fr., Harvard) earns Bitcoin Rookie of the Week. The Mississauga, Ont. native finished the weekend with two goals and one assist in a split weekend against Cornell and Colgate. The Chicago Steel (USHL) 100-point club member prepares next weekend for one game as Princeton rolls into Cambridge, looking to sweep the Tigers for the first time since the 2022-23 season.
MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week
Ethan Pearson (Sr., Princeton), the senior goaltender from Fredericton, N.B., has been named the MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week. The former Chilliwack Chiefs (BCHL) netminder earned two wins, a .984 save percentage, and a shutout against the visiting Bentley Falcons at Hobey Baker Memorial Rink. Pearson and the Tigers prepare for a return to ECAC Hockey action as they travel to New England to battle it out against Harvard and Dartmouth.
