DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey has selected the women’s weekly award winners for the week ending on October 6th, 2025: Alex Law (Jr., Quinnipiac), Aynsley D’Ottavio (So., Quinnipiac), Megan Duplantie (Fr., Union), and Felicia Frank (So., Quinnipiac).
Forward of the Week, presented by Bluebird Hotels
Alex Law (Jr., Quinnipiac) earns Forward of the Week honors, presented by Bluebird Hotels. On Friday night in Providence, the Ontario native scored her first hat trick as a Bobcat and later tallied an assist, playing a massive role in the Bobcats' 5-2 win.
Defender of the Week
Aynsley D’Ottavio (So., Quinnipiac) has been named the ECAC Hockey Defender of the Week. The Canadian defender made a statement, scoring her first career goal in her home barn against Providence Saturday night. She went on to score her second goal in the third period, helping Quinnipiac close out their weekend series with a 5-0 win.
#Bitcoin Rookie of the Week
Megan Duplantie (Fr., Union) claims the Bitcoin Rookie of the Week. The rookie from Laval, Quebec, scored her first two collegiate goals on Saturday afternoon against Merrimack College at the brand new M&T Bank Center. With under one minute to go and trailing 2-1, Duplantie found the back of the net to tie the game and force overtime.
MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Week
Felicia Frank (So., Quinnipiac) has been awarded the MAC Goaltender of the Week award. On a hot streak, the goalie hailing from Falköping, Sweden, posted a 2-0-0 record this weekend. On Friday night in Providence, Frank made 20 saves with a .909 save percentage and came back the next day in Connecticut, making 19 saves and securing a 5-0 shutout win against Providence.
