ITHACA, N.Y. - The Women's Hockey Commissioners Association has announced that Annelies Bergmann has been named a top-3 finalist for National Goaltender of the Year, along with earning Goalie of the Month distinctions for February. Joining Bergmann in the top-three are Ava McNaughton (Wisconsin) and Eve Gascon (Minnesota Duluth).
The ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Year holds a 22-4-5 record in net on the season. She has collected 579 saves on the season and holds a 1.39 goals-against average on a .940 save percentage. She was named Hockey Commisioners Association Goaltender of The Month for the second consecutive time after posting a 5-0-1 record between the pipes. Bergmann stopped 114 shots during the span and led Cornell to critical victories during the home-stretch of the regular season to pair with a post-season shutout.

Bergmann and the no. 3-ranked Cornell women's ice hockey team will return to the ice this weekend, as the Big Red will host the Clarkson Golden Knights on Friday for an ECAC Hockey Tournament semifinal game. Puck drop between the Big Red and the Golden Knights is slated for 3:00 p.m. at Lynah Rink. Game action will be broadcast on ESPN+.
