DANBURY, Conn. - ECAC Hockey and Elite Prospects today announced a strategic partnership for the 2026-27 and 2027-28 seasons that brings together one of college hockey's most storied conferences and the platform the hockey world uses to follow careers.
The partnership spans three areas. First, every rostered student-athlete and staff member across ECAC Hockey's 24 men's and women's programs will receive a free EP Verified profile, giving them ownership of how their careers are presented to the scouts, agents, coaches and fans who rely on Elite Prospects, with the ability to add video, track who is viewing them and be contacted directly.
Second, the two organizations will work together to expand coverage of ECAC Hockey on Elite Prospects, including deeper statistical and historical content, greater visibility for the conference's programs and student-athletes, and joint activations throughout the season and at the ECAC Hockey Championships in Lake Placid, N.Y.
Third, Elite Prospects becomes the Official Live Scoring App of ECAC Hockey. Fans will follow every men's and women's game with live scores and statistics in the Elite Prospects app, alongside the complete career history of every player on the ice, from youth hockey through college and the professional ranks.
"Elite Prospects has been at the forefront of player data and statistics for years. We are looking forward to promoting the outstanding men and women in our league throughout their college and professional careers. This partnership will allow our student-athletes ownership of their statistics and accomplishments to promote across the hockey industry,” said Doug Christiansen, ECAC Hockey Commissioner.
"ECAC Hockey's programs have produced generations of players who went on to the NHL, the Olympics and professional leagues around the world, and its student-athletes compete at the highest level while earning degrees from some of the most demanding institutions in the country. This partnership is about putting those players, and this conference, in front of the audience that follows hockey careers. Live scores are one piece of it. Giving every ECAC Hockey student-athlete a verified home on the platform, and telling the conference's story more fully than ever before, is what we are most proud of," said Peter Sibner, President, Elite Prospects North America.
The Elite Prospects app is available for free on the App Store and Google Play.
