*Denotes unanimous selection
These three forwards were the backbone of their offensive lines, posting impressive point totals while playing critical roles in their teams' success this season.
Leading off the forward line is Cornell’s Jonathan Castagna, who tallied 11 goals and 14 assists to finish the season with 25 points (5th in ECAC), topping the Big Red in goals and points. An impressive player, Castagna registered a four-point night in a big 6-1 victory over No. 5 Quinnipiac on February 20. It was announced on January 21 that Castagna has been nominated for the 2026 Hobey Baker Award, with the Top 10 finalists to be announced on March 18.
Standout rookie Ethan Wyttenbach is one of two unanimous decisions for the All-ECAC first team. Wyttenbach broke records in his rookie campaign, including Quinnipiac's first-year scoring record. The New York native heads into the quarterfinals with 24 goals, 33 assists, and 57 points overall, leading the country in points per game (1.58) and tied for second in goals.
Rounding out the forwards is Dartmouth's Hayden Stavroff, who was crucial to the Big Green's success, leading both his team and the conference in goals (22) and points (37). Overall, Stavroff leads the country in goals (27) with a career high of 44 points. The Big Green will face Colgate in a best-of-three quarterfinal series as they look to punch their ticket to Lake Placid.
Turning to the blue line, these players were impactful to their respective teams' defensive efforts.
Sophomore defender Elliot Groenewold unanimously earned First Team honors after an impressive season with the Bobcats. Groenewold blocked 24 shots and leads the team and ECAC in plus/minus with a +27 rating in league play. Overall, Groenewold leads the nation in plus-minus at a +38, the second-highest of any NCAA skater at this point in the season since at least 2002-03.
Joining Groenewold on the blue line is Union junior Tyler Dunbar. In league play, Dunbar has seven goals, including two game winners, and eight assists for 15 points in league play. Overall, Dunbar has 12 goals and 21 assists. The Michigan native has the third-most points in college hockey among defensemen (33) and is one of five blueliners with double-digit goals this season.
Rounding out the team is freshman netminder Alexis Cournoyer. Cournoyer led the league in save percentage (.919) and was second in goals-against average (2.01). The Québec native is a semifinalist for the 2026 Mike Richter Award, presented annually since 2014 to the top goaltender in men's Division I hockey.
