125 ECAC Student-Athletes Named AHCA All-American Scholars

League Makes Up Over 17 Percent of All DI Honorees

DANBURY, CONN. – The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) is once again honoring varsity ice hockey players for their outstanding academic achievements during the 2025-26 season with the release of the tenth annual “Krampade All-American Scholars” list.

125 ECAC student-athletes (men's and women's) were recognized in the announcement as 60 women's and 65 men's players met the necessary qualifications.

Princeton and Quinnipiac posted 16 student-athletes to the list (men's and women's combined) to lead all ECAC Hockey institutions. Brown and Yale were right behind the Bobcats with 14 and 12, respectively.

To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester, and had to appear in 40% of the team’s games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders. Schools also were required to be members of the AHCA.

The names of 726 Division I men (405) and women (321) were released June 29, with their Division II-III counterparts being announced separately at a later date.

Of particular note nationally, are the eleven athletes who not only earned this academic status, but were also voted as CCM/AHCA All-Americans for their on-ice play. Quinnipiac’s Kahlen Lamarche was named a CCM/AHCA All-American.
