Spademan, Carter, Oster and Clausen Claim ECAC Hockey Weekly Awards

ECAC Hockey has selected the women's weekly award winners for the week ending on September 29th, 2026.

DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey has selected the women's weekly award winners for the week ending on September 29th, 2026: Raedyn Spademan (Jr., Clarkson), Jaela Carter (So., Clarkson) Lily Oster (Fy., Union) and Casey Clausen (So., Quinnipiac).

High Peaks Resort Forward of the Week
Raedyn Spademan (Jr., Clarkson) is the High Peaks Resort Forward of the Week for her effort in the Golden Knights' weekend sweep over RIT. The Cochrane, Alb. native was a difference-maker from the opening puck drop at Cheel Arena this weekend, recording an assist and four shots on goal on Friday. Spademan had a career night on Saturday, recording a hat trick and an assist in her team's 8-1 victory, her first career hat trick, and the most points scored in a game (4) in her career.

Defender of the Week
Jaela Carter (So., Clarkson) is ECAC Hockey's Defender of the Week for her excellent two-way performance in Clarkson's home sweep over RIT. The Niagara Falls, Ont. native had a night to remember on Saturday, putting up three assists while registering two shots on goal, and finishing the night with a +/- of +2. It was Carter's second career multipoint effort, and she also set a new career high for points in a game.

Rookie of the Week presented by Just Play
Lily Oster (Fy., Union) made quite the first impression for the Garnet Chargers, and has been named the Rookie of the Week presented by Just Play. The Calgary, Alb. native recorded two assists in Union's 4-3 come-from-behind victory on Friday. Her second assist of the night helped set up the game-tying tally on the powerplay, and Union would go on to win the contest in overtime. Oster also recorded three shots on goal in her team's win on Saturday.

MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week
Casey Clausen (So., Quinnipiac) put forth a stellar performance in net for the Bobcats this weekend, and is this week's MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week. Playing in her first collegiate games of her career, the Whitesboro, NY native allowed just two goals, while making 57 saves across the weekend sweep, good for a .966 save percentage and a 1.00 goals against average.
