Quinnipiac, Yale Shut Out Opponents

Bobcats Advance to Nutmeg Classic Championship, Yale Looking To Go 2-0 in Las Vegas, and Clarkson Tops Maine At Home

CLIFTON PARK, N.Y. — Quinnipiac shut out Bemidji State 5-0 in Hamden this afternoon in their first ever contest against the WCHA team. The Bobcats' win means they'll advance to the Nutmeg Classic tomorrow, where they'll take on a familiar in-state foe in the University of Connecticut.

Out west, Yale shut out Boston University in the opening round of the Henderson Collegiate Hockey Showcase in Nevada. Clarkson emerged triumphant over Maine back home in Potsdam, with eight different goal scorers leading the Golden Knights to a comfortable 8-1 victory.
