Forward of the Week

Danielle Serdachny (Sr., Colgate) earns ECAC Hockey Forward of the Week after five points in Colgate’s weekend sweep of Rensselaer and Union. On Friday in Hamilton, Serdachny scored the Raiders’ second goal of the game and helped the team to a 4-0 win over the Engineers. She kept it up on Saturday, adding two goals and two helpers in the team’s 10-0 rout of Union. Serdachny had assists on both the first and final goals of the game, including teammate Kristýna Kaltounková’s game-winner in the first period.

Sydney Bard (Sr., Colgate) had a four-point weekend from the blue line for the Raiders, helping the team extend its undefeated streak in 2023 to four straight games. In Friday’s 4-0 victory over Rensselaer, Bard registered one assist on a third period goal by teammate Serdachny. On Saturday, Bard added three more, including two helpers at even strength and one on the power play en route to a 10-0 victory over the Dutchwomen.

MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Week

Hannah Murphy (So., Colgate) put up unbelievable numbers this weekend, going 2-0-0 as the Raiders took down both Rensselaer and Union at home in Hamilton. Through 110 minutes between the pipes, Murphy allowed zero goals and saved every shot she faced for a perfect 1.00 save percentage on the weekend. These games earned Murphy her third and fourth shutouts of the season and first two of the second half.
