Derraugh previously served as an assistant on the Canadian women’s senior national team from 2021-23. Additionally, Colgate women’s hockey head coach Greg Fargo, who spent one year as an assistant with the Canadian women’s U-18 team, will head to St. Catharines in August as a training camp coach.

Cassandra Turner, head coach of Quinnipiac women’s hockey, has been named an assistant coach for the national women’s development team. In 2014, Turner served as an assistant on the gold medal-winning Canadian U-18 team, then won silver as head coach of the squad in 2015. She’ll help coach the Canadian women’s development team in a three-game set against the American Collegiate Select squad in mid-August.
