DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey has selected the men’s weekly award winners for the week ending on October 13th, 2025: Brandon Buhr (Sr., Union), Antonio Fernandez (Jr., Colgate), Ethan Wyttenbach (Fr. Quinnipiac), and Mason Kucenski (Jr., St. Lawrence).

Forward of the Week, presented by Bluebird Hotels
Brandon Buhr (Sr., Union) has earned the Forward of the Week title, presented by Bluebird Hotels. The senior forward from North Vancouver, British Columbia, scored a total of three goals in Union’s weekend series against Mercyhurst. Buhr took advantage of a power play, finding the back of the net Saturday night to propel Union 2-0 this weekend.

Defender of the Week
Antonio Fernandez (Jr., Colgate) has been honored with the ECAC Hockey Defender of the Week award. Hailing from Danville, California, Fernandez secured two points of the season against No. 3 Boston University. Friday night, he tallied an assist on the first Colgate goal of the night and netted the game-tying goal and his first goal of the season the next night.

#Bitcoin Rookie of the Week
Ethan Wyttenbach (Fr., Quinnipiac) has been named the #Bitcoin Rookie of the Week. The New York native scored his first two collegiate goals at the Ice Breaker Tournament in Tempe, Arizona. Wyttenbach found the back of the net, scoring the lone goal, on Friday night against Alaska Fairbanks. The next night, the freshman scored the fifth goal and assisted on the seventh goal of the night, helping lead his team to a 7-2 win over Notre Dame.

MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week
Mason Kucenski (Jr., St. Lawrence), a junior goaltender from Gill, Massachusetts, is the MAC Goaltender of the Week. Kucenski went 1-1-0 on the week against Vermont, making 59 saves with a 0.92 save percentage.
