Men's Hockey Beats Czech Republic Selects in Exhibition

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown men's hockey beat the Czech Republic Selects, 2-0, in an exhibition on Tuesday (Oct. 14) at Meehan Auditorium.

The Bears got on the board late in the first period with an unassisted goal by Owen Dyer. Brown added an unassisted empty net goal from Zackary Tonelli for the final tally.

Tyler Shea and Fred Halyk split time in goal with Shea picking up 16 saves and Halyk adding 12.

Brown will begin its regular season on Oct. 31 at Air Force for two games against the Falcons.
