DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey has selected the men’s weekly award winners for the week ending on October 20th, 2025: Jack Brandt (So., Colgate), Tyler Dunbar (Jr., Union), Etienne Lessard (Fr. Union), and Matej Marinov (Jr., Quinnipiac).

Forward of the Week, presented by Bluebird Hotels
Jack Brandt (So., Colgate) has earned the Forward of the Week title, presented by Bluebird Hotels. The Madison Capitals alum from Worthington, Ohio, recorded a total of two goals and three assists in Colgate’s weekend split against Canisius. After Friday's loss, Brandt helped his team secure a bounceback win, scoring two goals, including the game winner on Saturday night.

Defender of the Week
Tyler Dunbar (Jr., Union) has been honored with the ECAC Hockey Defender of the Week award. The junior from Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, secured four points in Union's weekend sweep of Niagara. Dunbar tallied his first goal of the season Friday night and found the back of the net for two others the following night. He assisted on Union's fourth goal helping complete the sweep with a 6-0 win Saturday night.

#Bitcoin Rookie of the Week
Etienne Lessard (Fr., Union) has been named the #Bitcoin Rookie of the Week. The Quebec native went +4 in his home rink over the weekend against Niagara. He helped his teammates find the back of the net with a total of three assists in a weekend sweep that included a 3-2 win Friday night and a 6-0 victory the next.

MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week
Matej Marinov (Jr., Quinnipiac) is the MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week. The Fargo Force alum went 1-0-1 this week against No. 7 Maine. Friday night ended in a 4-4 tie, but the Slovakian native came back the next night and secured his first shutout of the season. He finished the weekend with 37 saves, 1.94 goals against average, and a .902 save percentage.
