Kaltounková, Gosling, Bell, Bergmann Honored With January Monthly Awards

DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey is proud to announce the women's monthly award winners for December: Kristýna Kaltounková (Gr., Colgate), Nicole Gosling (Gr., Clarkson), Cami Bell (Fr., Yale), and Annelies Bergmann (So., Cornell)

Forward of the Month, presented by Bluebird Hotels
Kristýna Kaltounková (Gr., Colgate) has secured Forward of the Month honors presented by Bluebird Hotels. The Vlasim, Czech Republic native, had a ten-point month with five goals and five assists. The former Vermont Academy (NEPSAC) forward is a nationally recognized talent, ending January ranking second in the nation in goals (25). She has led the Raiders to six straight wins as February approaches, with four games remaining in the regular season.

Ironhead Defender of the Month
Nicole Gosling (Gr., Clarkson) has been named the Ironhead Defender of the Month after an impressive performance on the blue line to wrap up January. The London, Ont. native tallied three goals and seven assists in January. The 2023-24 ECAC Defender of the Year seeks to lead the Golden Knights to two critical victories during the first full weekend of February, as #9 Quinnipiac and #14 Princeton visit Cheel Arena with all teams in pursuit of an opening round bye in the ECAC Hockey Championships.

Bitcoin Rookie of the Month
Cami Bell (Fr., Yale) has been awarded Bitcoin Rookie of the Month. The Barre, Vt. native scored eight goals and four assists in January for the Bulldogs. Her breakout performance was in early January when she recorded a natural hat trick at Northeastern. She leads her team with 12 goals and ranks second in points with 19.

MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Month
Annelies Bergmann (So., Cornell) has been named the MAC Goaltender of the Month. Bergmann continues to impress the nation with a 1.46 GAA, ranking fifth in the NCAA. Her January performance in goal was outstanding. She has nearly been perfect this month, boasting a 7-1-2 record, a 1.23 GAA, and 209 saves.
