DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey has selected the women’s weekly award winners for the week ending on January 27th, 2026: Sara Manness (Fr., Clarkson), Makayla Watson (So., Quinnipiac), Aneta
Šenková (Fr., Clarkson), and Felicia Frank (So., Quinnipiac).
Laurel Lake Placid Forward of the Week
Sara Manness (Fr., Clarkson) claims Laurel Lake Placid Forward of the Week honors for the second week in a row. The Golden Knights went 3-0 this past week over St. Lawrence, Dartmouth, and Harvard. Tuesday night, Manness tallied one goal and one assist for two points. Friday night against Dartmouth, Manness scored both goals, including the overtime game-winner with 4.4 seconds left for the Golden Knights. The next day, Manness stayed hot, scoring two goals, including the game-winner, over Harvard, which was a record breaker for the Knights, as she became the first Clarkson player in program history to score a goal in 10 consecutive games in the course of one season. Manness has now tallied 15 goals in her 10-game streak.
ADAPT Nutrition Defender of the Week
Makayla Watson (So., Quinnipiac) has been named the ADAPT Nutrition Defender of the Week for the second week in a row. The Bobcats went 2-0 over Colgate and No. 12 Cornell. Friday night in the Bobcats' 5-1 win over Colgate, Watson scored three goals, including the game winner, completing her first career hat trick with an empty-net goal, becoming the first Quinnipiac defenseman in 15 years to record a hat trick. Watson is second in assists (18), third in points (24), and leads defenders in goals (6).
Rookie of the Week
Aneta Šenková (Fr., Clarkson) claims Rookie of the Week recognition. The Czech netminder went 2-0-0 this past week, posting 48 saves and a .980 save percentage. Šenková was a brick wall Tuesday night, making 24 saves for a 5-0 win over St. Lawrence. Saturday, the Golden Knights defeated Harvard 3-1, where Šenková made 24 saves with a .960 save percentage.
MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Week
Felicia Frank (So., Quinnipiac) has been awarded the MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Week award. Hailing from Sweden, Frank stood on her head between the pipes, going 2-0-0. Friday night, Frank only allowed one goal, defeating Colgate 5-1, then shutout No. 12 Cornell 4-0 the next day. Frank, who made 69 saves for a .986 save percentage, recorded a new career high in saves for the second time this season. She earned her 21st win of the season and is tied for first nationally in wins, alongside Wisconsin's Ava McNaughton.
