127 Alums Headed to PWHL Training Camps

PWHL Training Camp Rosters Full of Former and Current ECAC Hockey Players

DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey is proud to announce that 127 current and former student-athletes representing all 12 member institutions have been invited to PWHL training camps this November. Final rosters for the 2026-27 season will be confirmed in late November, with each team permitted to carry up to 23 active players.

Three ECAC programs — Clarkson, Colgate, and Quinnipiac — lead all schools, each with 20 or more alumni invited to camp. In total, all 12 of the league’s programs will be represented at training camp.

The Seattle Torrent lead all PWHL teams with 14 players who have ties to ECAC Hockey. Their 28-player camp roster hits the ice on November 18 at the Kraken Community Iceplex following the completion of the 2026 IIHF Women’s World Championship. Torrent General Manager Meghan Turner (Quinnipiac ‘17) said, "This training camp is an opportunity for our returning players to reinforce our standards and culture and for our newcomers to establish their roles within our group. Our focus is on building a competitive roster and putting into action the significant work our players and staff have invested in preparing for the season."

The Boston Fleet will feature twelve ECAC alumni and hit the ice on November 18 at the Boston Sports Institute. The Vancouver Goldeneyes will skate with twelve ECAC alumni on November 18 at the PNE Agrodome. The New York Sirens boast eleven skaters with ECAC Hockey ties and will hit the ice on November 18 at the Essex County Codey Arena. Toronto Sceptres announced their training camp roster featuring ten ECAC Hockey alums and will hit the ice on November 18 at the Ford Performance Centre. The Ottawa Charge’s camp will open November 18 at Canadian Tire Centre, with six ECAC Hockey alumni in attendance. The Minnesota Frost’s training camp, featuring six ECAC Hockey alumni, will begin November 18 at TRIA Rink in Saint Paul.

Each of the league’s four expansion teams, Detroit (9), Hamilton (13), San Jose (13), and Vegas (10) will host their inaugural training camp on November 18 at their respective ice rinks.
