DANBURY, CONN. – As the regular season concludes, the stage is set for the opening round of the ECAC Hockey postseason. The Yale Bulldogs and Princeton Tigers were crowned ECAC Hockey Regular Season Co-Champions. Opening Round action will feature four single-elimination matchups, with No. 12 Union Garnet Chargers traveling to No. 5 Clarkson Golden Knights, No. 11 RPI Engineers heading to No. 6 Colgate Raiders, No. 10 Dartmouth Big Green visiting No. 7 Brown Bears, and No. 9 St. Lawrence Saints traveling to No. 8 Harvard Crimson. The winners will advance to the quarterfinal round to face the league’s top four seeds. Yale, Princeton, Quinnipiac, and Cornell have earned their spot in the quarterfinals as the race to Lake Placid begins.
