DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey has selected the men’s weekly award winners for the week ending on February 23rd, 2026: Hayden Stavroff (So., Dartmouth), Thomas Klassek (Fr. RPI), Sam LeDrew (Fr., St. Lawrence), and Cameron Korpi (So., Union).

Laurel Lake Placid Forward of the Week
Hayden Stavroff (So., Dartmouth) claims Laurel Lake Placid Forward of the Week honors. The Ohio native had an impressive weekend for the Big Green. Friday night, Stavroff scored two goals (including the game winner), and tallied one assist in No. 14 Dartmouth’s 3-1 win over RPI. He tallied his second straight three-point game and has points in four of his last five games, during which he has scored nine points. The next day, Stavroff scored his nation's best 25th and 26th goals of the season in the Big Green's 3-3 tie against the Garnet Chargers. It is the most goals a Big Green player has scored in a season since Ross Brownridge scored 25 goals in the 1978-79 season. Stavroff has now tallied multiple points in three straight games and has 11 points in the last six games, leading the Big Green in goals (26) and points (41) and is second in assists (15).

ADAPT Nutrition Defender of the Week
Thomas Klassek (Fr. RPI) has been honored with the ADAPT Nutrition Defender of the Week award. The Austrian defenseman was dominant on the blue line Saturday night for the Engineers against Harvard in the Big Red Freakout. Klassek tallied three assists in the 3-1 win over the Crimson in front of a 4,450-fan sell out at Houston Fieldhouse. He currently sits second on the team in assists (12) behind teammate Luciano Wilson (14).

Rookie of the Week
Sam LeDrew (Fr., St. Lawrence) claims Rookie of the Week recognition. Hailing from Nova Scotia, this rookie forward tallied two goals and two assists this past weekend. Friday night, LeDrew scored the Saints' second goal and the eventual game winner and assisted teammate Isack Bandu on the final goal in the 3-1 win over Brown. The next day, LeDrew netted the first goal of the game, taking advantage of the power play and posting an assist in the Saints' 5-2 win over Yale.

MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week
Cameron Korpi (So., Union) is the MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week.  The South Lyon, Michigan netminder was strong in between the pipes, going 1-0-1 against Harvard and Dartmouth. Korpi made a total of 65 saves while allowing four goals, resulting in a .942 save percentage. Union will end the regular season this weekend on the road at Yale and Brown.
