DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey is proud to announce the women's monthly award winners for games played in March: Kahlen Lamarche (Jr., Quinnipiac), Molly Boyle (Fr., Yale), Riley Sorokan (Fr., Princeton), and Felicia Frank (So., Quinnipiac).
Laurel Lake Placid Forward of the Month
Kahlen Lamarche (Jr., Quinnipiac) secures Laurel Lake Placid Forward of the Month honors. The Sudbury, Ontario native tallied three goals, five assists, one game-winning goal, one short-handed goal, and one hat trick for the month of March. On March 1st, Lamarche scored a hat trick, including the game winner, in the 5-4 win over Brown to send the Bobcats to Lake Placid. After beating Princeton in the semifinals, the Bobcats advanced to the Championship game, where they faced Yale. Lamarche tallied two assists in the 5-1 win, crowning the Quinnipiac Bobcats as the 2026 ECAC Hockey Women’s Champions.
Defender of the Month
Molly Boyle (Fr., Yale) earns Defender of the Month recognition with a strong performance on the blueline for the Bulldogs. Boyle netted three goals, including two game winners, and one assist in four games played. The Massachusetts native scored the game-winning goal in the Bulldogs 7-2 win over Cornell to advance to the Championship game. Despite falling to the Bobcats, Yale punched their ticket to the NCAA Tournament, where the Bulldogs faced off against Minnesota Duluth in the regional semi-final. Boyle scored the game-winning goal in a 1-0 win for the Bulldogs.
Rookie of the Month
Riley Sorokan (Fr., Princeton) garners Rookie of the Month honors for March. The Appleby College alum netted two goals, tallied two assists, and was +1 on the month in three games played. Sorokan was a key player in the Tigers' 5-1 win over Harvard in the ECAC Quarterfinals, where she scored one goal and tallied two assists to punch their ticket to Lake Placid.
MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Month
Felicia Frank (So., Quinnipiac) has been recognized as the MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Month. Frank posted a 4-1-0 record, a .940 save percentage, and a 2.18 goals against average. Frank posted one shutout, making 172 saves in the month of March. The 2026 ECAC Hockey Goaltender of the Year was strong in between the pipes for the Bobcats, leading her team to become the 2026 ECAC Hockey Women’s Champions and was named the ECAC Tournament MOP.
