ECAC Talent Stands Out At The 2026 PWHL Draft

League Tallies Nation's Best 27 Selections Overall

DETROIT, Mich. – The PWHL welcomed 72 new players into its ranks, with 27 of those selections having played collegiately for ECAC Hockey institutions. Eight of the league's 12 institutions saw at least one former player take to the stage.

Clarkson’s Sara Swiderski and Cornell’s Grace Dwyer were selected ninth (Minnesota) and tenth (Boston) in the first round of the PWHL Draft.

FULL DRAFT LIST

Princeton star and 2026 Patty Kazmaier award nominee Issy Wunder was selected by Las Vegas to open the second round. She was joined in round two by Brown’s Jade Iginla (2.6 to Hamilton), Yale’s Jordan Ray and the first Florida native ever selected in the PWHL draft (2.11 to Ottawa), Cornell’s Avi Adam (2.12 to Montréal), Colgate’s Sydney Morrow (2.2 to Seattle), and Casey Borgiel (2.10 to Detroit)

Former Quinnipiac Bobcat Emerson Jarvis was selected by fellow Quinnipiac alum and Seattle General Manager Meghan Turner with the second pick in the third round. She was joined in round three by Colgate’s Elyssa Biederman (3.6 to Hamilton), Yale’s Carina DiAntonio (3.7 to New York), and Quinnipiac’s Zoe Uens (3.12 to Montréal).

In round four, Princeton alum Jane Kuehl was selected 44th overall (4.8) by Toronto General Manager and St. Lawrence alum Gina Kingsbury. Joining her in the fourth round is Clarkson alum Jaden Bogden, who was selected 46th overall by Boston.

Gracie Gilkyson was selected second in the fifth round by the Seattle Torrent. Following her was Clarkson alum Sena Catterall (5.3 to Detroit), Cornell’s McKenna Van Gelder (5.4 to San Jose), Colgate Alexis Petford (5.5 to Las Vegas),  St. Lawrence’s Emma-Sofie Nordström (5.6 to Hamilton), Princeton’s Emerson O’Leary (5.8 to Toronto), Clarkson’s Jenna Goodwin (5.10 to Boston) and Colgate’s Neena Brick (5.11 to Ottawa)

Cornell’s Ashley Messier (6.1 to Vancouver) is joined by two fellow Cornellians Georgia Schiff (6.3 to Detroit) and Alyssa Regalado (6.8 to Toronto), and Yale’s Naomi Boucher (6.7 to New York) and Clarkson's Lara Beecher (6.9 to Minnesota) all went off the board before the end of the evening.
