DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey has selected the women’s weekly award winners for the week ending on November 18th, 2025: Monique Lyons (So., Brown), Kate Manness (Fr., Clarkson), Morgan McGathey (Fr., Harvard), and Anya Zupkofska (So., Brown).
Forward of the Week, presented by Bluebird Hotels
Monique Lyons (So., Brown) earns Forward of the Week honors, presented by Bluebird Hotels. The sophomore from Bedford, Massachusetts scored the game's first goal in a 4-0 win over Brown on Friday night. She again made an impact the following day, netting two goals and tallying one assist against Harvard. Lyons' second goal came 3:56 into overtime to secure the 4-3 over the Crimson.
ADAPT Nutrition Defender of the Week
Kate Manness (Fr., Clarkson) has been named the ADAPT Nutrition Defender of the Week. The rookie defender from Winnipeg, Manitoba was prominent from the blue line on Wednesday morning. Manness tallied three assists in the Golden Knights' 6-1 win over St. Lawrence in front of a sold out Cheel Arena on kids' day.
Rookie of the Week
Morgan McGathey (Fr., Harvard) claims Rookie of the Week recognition. Four minutes into Friday's game against No.10 Yale, the Thayer Academy alum scored her first career goal en route to a 4-1 win. The next night, McGathey continued her hot streak, finding the back of the net twice for the Crimson. Despite her efforts, her team fell to Brown 4-3 in overtime.
MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week
Anya Zupkofska (So., Brown) has been awarded the MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week award. The sophomore goaltender went 2-0-0 this weekend with a 0.944 save percentage. Friday night, Zupkofska was a brick wall, shutting out the Big Green with 26 saves and recording her third shutout of the season. The next day, she allowed three goals but stood tall in overtime to secure a 4-3 overtime win for the Bears. She made 51 saves in the weekend sweep.
