DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey proudly announces the men’s monthly award winners for November: Brandon Buhr (Sr., Union), CJ Foley (Jr., Dartmouth), Ethan Wyttenbach (Fr., Quinnipiac), and Emmett Croteau (Jr., Dartmouth).
Forward of the Month, presented by Bluebird Hotels
Brandon Buhr (Sr., Union) claims Forward of the Month honors, presented by Bluebird Hotels. The former Alberni Valley Bulldogs (BCHL) ended the month with eight goals, two being game-winning goals, and four assists, in nine games. Buhr’s most notable match was against New Hampshire on November 15, where he scored a hat trick to help the Garnet Chargers secure a 6-0 win. Buhr currently leads Union in goals (12) and points (18), heading into December.
Defender of the Month
CJ Foley (Jr., Dartmouth) earned Defender of the Month honors for his impactful performance on the blue line throughout November. In eight games of action, the 2023-24 ECAC Hockey Rookie of the Year netted two goals (both game winners) and five assists, and is +10. Foley currently leads all defenders in assists (5) and is third overall. Dartmouth opens up December play by hosting Brown and Yale.
Rookie of the Month
Ethan Wyttenbach (Fr., Quinnipiac) earns Rookie of the Month accolades for the second time. Wyttenbach stayed hot in eight November contests, as the New York native scored four goals, tallied 10 assists, and was +4 on the month. His most notable game was against Holy Cross, where he scored two goals and tallied two assists in the Bobcats’ 7-6 victory. The freshman currently leads the Bobcats in assists (14) and points (22).
MAC Goaltending Goaltender of the Month
Emmett Croteau (Jr., Dartmouth) is honored as MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Month after being a brick wall in between the pipes, posting a 4-0-0 record for the Big Green in November. The Montreal Canadiens draft pick posted one shutout, making 96 saves on 99 shots, with a .970 save percentage, for a GAA of 0.75.
