DANBURY, CONN. – ECAC Hockey has selected the men’s weekly award winners for the week ending on January 19th, 2026: Tyler Borgula (So., Quinnipiac), Mason Langenbrunner (Sr., Harvard), James Shannon (Fr., Yale), and Noah Pak (So., Yale).

Laurel Lake Placid Forward of the Week
Tyler Borgula (So., Quinnipiac) claims Laurel Lake Placid Forward of the Week honors. The Sioux Falls Stampede (USHL) racked up four points this weekend for the No. 7 Bobcats. On Friday night, Borgula assisted teammate Antonin Verreault to open up scoring against Colgate. Exactly 2:19 later, Borgula found the back of the net for the game winner to make it 2-0. He did not stop there, assisting teammate Victor Czerneckianair on the fourth goal of the night, 3:38 after his own goal, leading to a 5-1 win. The next day, the Michigan native took advantage of the power play in the third to net the fourth goal of the night, taking down No. 13 Cornell 4-1.

ADAPT Nutrition Defender of the Week
Mason Langenbrunner (Sr., Harvard) has been honored with the ADAPT Nutrition Defender of the Week award. The Bruins' draft pick was +1 after tallying three points in the Crimson's three-game week matchup. Tuesday night against Boston University, the captain assisted teammate Joe Miller in the opening goal of the night. It was not enough for the Crimson as they fell to the Terriers 4-1. They bounced back Friday night against St. Lawrence as Langenbrunner netted the game-winning goal for the Crimson and later assisted teammate Matthew Morden on the fourth goal of the night. The Crimson went on to beat the Saints 5-1 and Clarkson the following day 2-1, picking up much-needed six points.

Rookie of the Week
James Shannon (Fr., Yale) claims Rookie of the Week recognition. Hailing from Greenwich, Connecticut, the rookie forward had himself an impressive weekend for the Bulldogs. Friday night, the Bulldogs hit the road, taking down the Engineers 8-3. Shannon scored a short-handed goal to make the score 3-1 in the second period. He went on to assist teammate Kalen Szeto in the third, bringing the score to 7-1. The next day, the Bulldogs took on Union, where Shannon scored the game-winner 4:38 into the third period and then scored an empty-net goal as the Bulldogs defeated Union 4-1.

MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week
Noah Pak (So., Yale) is the MAC Goaltending Goalie of the Week. The Collingwood Blues (OJHL) alum went 2-0-0 this weekend against RPI and Union on the road, making a total of 57 saves while allowing four goals for a .943 save percentage. The Bulldogs will host CT Ice this weekend, where they will face off against the University of Connecticut on Friday night.
