ECAC Hockey Announces 2026 Men’s Scholar-Athlete Nominees

12 Student-Athletes from Each School Represent Top Scholar-Athletes

DANBURY, CONN. ECAC Hockey and its member institutions have announced nominees for the 2026 Men’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year award. One student-athlete from each program has been honored as a nominee.

The ECAC’s Men’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year award is presented annually to an ECAC Hockey male athlete who most embodies the qualities of excellence and leadership on the ice, in the classroom, and throughout their community. 

In 2025, St. Lawrence defenseman Mason Waite was presented with the honor for his efforts on and off the ice and in Canton.

The three finalists will be announced Monday and the 2026 ECAC Hockey Men’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year will be announced at their final home contest.
